Clio Cup Great Britain
The Renault Clio, a true icon of French motoring, returned to British race tracks with an official National championship in 2024.
The latest racing Clio (V II) will now take to the finest UK circuits once more in 2025, starting the season with enviable trips to all three of Britain's Grand Prix circuits.
Clio Cup GB cars are prepared to clearly set out regulations with a number of control parts to place the maximum possible emphasis on driver skill. These include but are not limited to a Renault HR13 engine, five-speed Renault Sport SADEV ST 82 sequential gearbox and Renault Sport Racing road wheels.
Each race weekend comprises a single qualifying session followed by a pair of races with a minimum length of 20 minutes. The grid for the first race of a race weekend is determined in a traditional manner by the fastest times set during qualifying. Race two’s starting order will be set by the second fastest lap time set by each driver during the same session.
The Clio Cup GB Championship is promoted by MotorSport Vision Trackdays (MSVT), the team behind a well-subscribed and award-wining portfolio - including: MSVT Trackday Trophy, Trackday Championship and EnduroKA, and operated by sister organisation MotorSport Vision Racing (MSVR).
