MSVT Trackday Championship

MSVT's, Trackday Championship (TDC) is a championship which offers a competitive, yet fun-and-friendly, environment for production saloon, hatchback and sports car racers to enjoy.

The championship format allows participants to experience the excitement of a season-long championship battle, whilst maintaining the sociable and friendly atmosphere which has always appealed to MSVT entrants. The added competitive element attracts both those who have earned their racing stripes in the Trackday Trophy and newcomers to the MSVT fold.

MSVT will manage to the day-to-day running of the championship, offering familiarity to its customers from track day to championship level, with race weekend support provided by MotorSport Vision Racing (MSVR).

The class structure will be similar to that which has been used in MSVT's racing activities over the past few years, with class allocation determined by the amount of brake-horsepower-per-tonne. The class classifications are outlined below:

- Class B 151 - 175 bhp/tonne

- Class C 126 - 150 bhp/tonne

- Class D up to 125 bhp/tonne

TDC's regulations allow Trackday Trophy competitors to graduate seamlessly, whilst also offering the chance to anyone with a production-based saloon, hatchback or sports car to enter.

Races are 45-minutes in length and preceded by 25 minute qualifying session. They include a pit stop and allow for driver changes.
